• Vehicle Tag & Title - Register your car within 5 days of arrival to town or a penalty may be incurred when you purchase tags. If you move from out of state you will need: MVE-1 inspection form from Kansas Inspector (200 W. Murdock), Out of state title or registration receipt, name of vehicle insurance company and policy number, completed odometer disclosure statement, sales tax receipt or sales receipt of purchased out of state (to pay Kansas Sales Tax), prorated personal property tax will be due at the same time.
